*Title: Operations Manager for Retail and Markets Department: Operations Reports to: Head of Operations Status: Full time, Exempt*
*ROLE: *This is an important operational and sales role responsible for the successful operations for our retail locations, farmers’ markets and deliveries/catering business, including staffing, scheduling, market and retail logistics, and performance and growth of these avenues.
Responsibilities include maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring smooth operations at retail and farmers’ markets, monitoring and improving market performance, and training and assessing market staff.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Manage operations and logistics for farmers’ markets, retail locations, and deliveries/catering business, including recruiting, scheduling, training and managing sellers and drivers.
Ensure an excellent customer experience through training of staff and through direct customer communications over email, phone, and social media.
Monitor and improve performance of farmers’ markets and expansion into new markets, including determining product selection and improving product display.
Build processes and systems to support smooth operations and growth, including for the maintenance of market materials and equipment, daily check-lists, assessments, and training documents.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
● 2+ years of management and leadership experience, ideally in consumer-facing products and the fast-casual food space.
● Excellent communication skills, resilient and an organized, strategic, critical thinker mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
