About the Role-
Mollie Stone’s Markets is currently seeking a Full Time ACE hardware department manager at our San Bruno Location.
This person will manage the daily running of the ACE store and its longer term sales goals.
The position needs someone that is highly motivated, team-focused and who has retail management experience in the hardware industry.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to succeed
Ensuring the highest level of customer engagement
Ensure strategic department growth, staffing and revenue for the department and store
Work directly with customers, merchandise and staff
Manage trainees
Responsible for merchandising
Ensure the department complies with all safety, and labor regulations
Observes and coaches employees on methods for good customer service, interaction skills, and salesmanship
Manages purchases to maintain optimal inventory level
Maintain effective employee schedules
Promotes and supports company programs and promotions
Ensure that all department employees are trained to meet all performance and policy expectations.
Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
Requirements:
Applicants must have prior and/or management experience including strong customer service
2-3 years retail hardware management experience
Great communication skills
Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
Passion for customer service
Salary range: $20-$25 per hour plus benefits.
