All Eyes On You Optometry is seeking a full-time, experienced Optician to provide optical dispensary services in our busy, family-oriented, professional practice.
Job Duties
• Work with patients to find & fit correct eyewear
• Perform dispensing, promotion, and display tasks
• Adjust glasses as necessary – minor repairs
• Help manage office inventory and optical ordering, including contact lenses
• Train patients how to use contact lenses
• Assist in the office in other areas, as needed
• We work only with VSP insurance, so no need to bill multiple plans
• Hours:
Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00 – 5:00
Thursday & Friday 6:45 – 3:30
Some Mondays 8:00- 12:00 & Saturdays 7:45 – 1:00 (the office is always closed the first Saturday of each month)
Qualifications
• ABO certification preferred but not required
• Inventory and/or retail experience helpful
• Friendly, bright and detail-oriented
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• We take the safety of our staff and patients very seriously, therefore candidate must provide proof of Covid vaccination
