*Job Summary*
Our Store Manager applicant needs 2 or more years in a similar role with supervisory experience and proven management skills.
Other requirements include experience with financial, sales and operational reports, with the ability to interpret, analyze and develop strategic selling plans, Store Managers also require proven experience of exemplary customer satisfaction, improvement strategies and creating a positive store culture.
Store Managers need a positive attitude to facilitate employee retention and allow for sales associates personal development.
*Store Manager Duties*
* Managing and overseeing store operations, ensuring efficient functioning of the store, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability
* Implementing Human Resource duties including recruiting, hiring, training, firing, managing schedules, assigning responsibilities and performance management based on metrics
* Controlling inventory to ensure sufficient stock.
Communication with upper management on store needs based on sell through of current inventory.
Able to execute quarterly inventory with staff.
* Enforcing exceptional customer service and setting examples for staff to follow.
Holding all staff accountable to customer service standards.
Able to create and maintain a positive selling culture for our staff and our customers.
* Manage loss prevention through security strategies, auditing paperwork and inventory levels and appropriately handling damaged and returned merchandise.
*Skills and Qualifications*
* Coaching skills to train and mentor staff on Company standards, effective sales techniques and product knowledge to obtain performance based results and team development.
* Product display creation skills and cleanliness to maintain store image.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with customers and staff.
* Exceptional decision making and problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflict.
* Basic math skills, analytical knowledge and the ability to increase KPI's by changing selling behaviors.
