Develops healthcare services for Walmart by utilizing clinical and medical expertise in the health service industry to evaluate and propose health services opportunities; assessing organizational readiness for implementation of new initiatives; defining the health services framework clearly and concisely; identifying gaps in the healthcare system that could be potential opportunities; eliminating barriers to achieve strategic initiatives; developing and managing budget spending and financial and business cases for health services programs; developing communications and presentations for proposing new health services business plans; and gaining buy-in from senior leadership (for example executives, board of directors, and external advisory boards).
Supports the development and implementation of business solutions and enhancements to current Health and Wellness businesses by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; collaborating with the merchandising and operations to ensure business objectives and member needs are met; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities; and promoting a member-focused environment.
Drives a culture of patient safety, clinical quality, professional practice and operational excellence to establish a competitive advantage for the Health and Wellness businesses by assessing current culture and programs; identifying and implementing continuous quality improvement programs; and educating and communicating industry best practices to senior leadership.
Participates in the exploration and testing of new concepts to improve sales performance of new and existing businesses by participating in the design and development of processes to be utilized in projects; determining the strategic implementation of new concepts and processes and gaining approval; managing the review of bids and selection of outside resources; identifying constraints to implementation; researching size of the market and potential return on investment (ROI) for Sam's Club in new businesses; and measuring outcomes to ensure desired results.
Ensures implementation of concepts for Sam's Club Health and Wellness by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current tests, programs, and initiatives; developing implementation plans; developing training for new concepts and implementation processes; communicating training plans to Field Operations; establishing and providing timelines for implementation of concepts; ensuring new ideas or concepts are integrated properly within scope of operational system and processes; and managing and resolving implementation issues.
Drives projects from idea to implementation across the business by leveraging cross-functional teams; identifying appropriate stakeholders and vendors to deliver successful projects; identifying quantifiable success measures; creating reports, correction of errors, and action plans; and identifying opportunities for feedback loops.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.
00-$234,000.
