Sr Director / GM, Marketplace - Collectibles The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer service.
The GM of Collectibles will be both a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving marketplace category growth, delivering a best-in-class customer experience, and establishing the Walmart Marketplace in the collector community.
You will set the overall business objectives and drive the day-to-day operations for the category to deliver the sales, profit and customer experience goals.
This role will lead a high-performing team of category/account managers and program leads + work extensively with cross-functional partners to deliver day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

You'll make an impact by: Providing strategic leadership and direction: You'll define business objectives to deliver on customer and seller needs, working across the organization to drive consensus, implement, measure, and improve.
Managing financial performance: You'll set the long-range strategy and vision for Collectibles on the Walmart Marketplace and be responsible for delivering the annual operating plan and associated performance KPIs.
Developing assortment growth strategies: You'll define a clear selection strategy focused on high-demand categories, items and brands and collaborate with the Acquisition team on new seller BD, catalog growth and strategic partnerships.
Leading product and strategic initiatives: You'll lead the strategy, planning and launch of new innovative product features and verticals to deliver best-in-class seller and customer experiences.
Driving customer demand: You'll partner closely with Site Operations and Marketing to develop a holistic a category marketing plan - including events, site placements, onsite & offsite traffic generation and promotions - ultimately driving consideration, traffic and conversion rate for the Collectibles, and integrating Walmart into the broader collector community.
Strong data and digital acumen: You'll oversee the development of category metrics and dashboards aimed at helping to improve conversion and seller satisfaction.
You'll build a team culture where we leverage data to make real-time decisions, anticipate business consider questions, drive hypothesis formulation, and build data-driven culture.
Building a high performing, best in industry team: You'll develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by recruiting, selecting, and developing talent.
You'll support mentorship, team development, and succession planning and will implement strategies and initiatives that attract and retain diverse and inclusive talent, embracing diversity in all its forms and actively supporting diversity goal programs.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience in business or related field Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years of related experience in category management, online marketplace, general management, or a related e-commerce business.
Minimum 5+ years of Collectibles market experience.
10+ years demonstrated experience managing a team.
Experience managing a P&L.
Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable making data-driven decisions.
Ability to set clear team objectives and performance measures.
Ability to select and develop a team of future leaders.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary.
Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.
00-$338,000.
