*SUMMARY*
The Studio Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing operations relating to running the studio on a day to day basis.
The main focuses of the Studio Manager are *growing memberships, building community, and overseeing the team to make sure the studio stays clean and tidy*.
The Studio Manager works with the studio owner on growing studio attendance, managing studio systems, ensuring strong client relationships, maintaining an organized and welcoming studio atmosphere, assisting in refining and implementing studio policies and procedures, helps with scheduling, and supports in studio marketing and events.

* Manages front desk and instructor schedules.
* Leads and develops studio team members.
* Implements sales and operational procedures.
* Actively uses Loyalsnap (our messaging platform) to drive sales and support customer service
*JOB DUTIES*
* Manages studio team through both operations and development, this includes studio team scheduling, instructor scheduling, quarterly casual check-ins, and providing feedback and coaching when needed.
* Commits at least 15 hours per week to support Front Desk Shifts, and works a minimum for 20 hours per week dedicated to this role.
* Review KPI’s and create and implement strategies to reach goals, such as tracking new clients per month, retention rates, membership sales, and setting and meeting retail goals.
* Reviews monthly P&L to ensure that the studio is tracking towards yearly planned revenue while understanding the studio’s unique strengths and challenges.
* Takes classes and is present in the studio to connect with the community and staff.
* Provides leadership on overall client experience.
* Leads trainings and implements roll out of any changes to amenities, programs, facilities.
* Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with the client and coworkers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
* Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
* Takes direction and constructive feedback.
* Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
*SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Directly supervises around 20 Studio employees including Front Desk and Instructor staff.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
Minimum two years management experience preferred.
