About This Role:
Our Assistant Store Manager helps set the tone for the store and team, bringing our brand to life while creating a memorable and inspiring experience for our customers.
This person will be instrumental at coaching and developing a high level of salesmanship and gorjana knowledge in each stylist.
The ASM will be considered the manager on duty when the manager is out of the business and both will work as close partners.
The ASM will help manage the day-to-day functions of a gorjana retail store alongside the Store Manager with the execution of all aspects including the achievement of sales, staff management, education and training, customer service, visual merchandising and overall brand standards execution.
Your Day-to-Day May Include:
Sales
Maintain strong presence on the floor and lead by example
Partner with Store Manager to ensure KPI's are being focused on and results are driven
Assist with on-going staff training, partner with SM to identify training opportunities
Clientele, building relationships and drive brand awareness
Drive and contribute to personal and overall company sales goals
Serve as brand ambassador by wearing the product, providing company background and product knowledge
Participate in leading monthly store and regional meetings
Will provide further insight to SM for stylist performance to contribute to monthly check-in's
Strong communication and routine meetings to allow for alignment of leadership within the store
Perform Store Manager duties in the absence of one
Helping at local stores when needed
Operations
Helping with onboarding and training new stylists
Daily store operations, ensuring consistent execution and following company processes
Partnering to create and manage store schedule with Store Manager
Oversee opening/closing duties
Maintain proper store environment, back of house and floor presentation and comply with company standards
Partner with Retail Operations when needed
Reporting/Inventory
Gain insight to sales analysis and review weekly reporting breakdown to understand business and where to focus effort on improvement needed
Assist with inventory control, product shipments and back stock levels
Oversee and execute daily and/or weekly stock counts
Merchandising
Assist in display of merchandise/execute gorjana brand VM standards
ensure throughout day back-stocking is supported
Flag styles selling at a high rate to anticipate replenishment
Recruiting
Assist Store Manager in the recruiting and hiring process for the store

Compensation is hourly wage starting from $26-$28/hour plus commission and bonus opportunities
