The Donation Attendant plays a vital role in accepting donations on behalf of Goodwill, all the while delivering consistent exceptional customer service to our generous donors.

What You Will Do:
Accept material donations properly to avoid damage or breakage.
Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting donors, addressing their questions, and aiding in the unloading of donations.
Categorize and label donated items, ensuring they are placed in the appropriate containers or equipment.
Offer tax receipts to each donor, regardless of the size of the donation.
Fill out and report production and inventory reports.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment around donation area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What You Bring to the Company:
Previous retail and customer service experience preferred.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with customers and fellow employees.
Proficiency in reading and writing English is required, or alternatively, being actively enrolled in and making progress toward successfully completing an approved ESL program.
Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift at minimum 35 lbs.
Ability to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period.
Available to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
