Delivery Driver/Design Studio Support Wanted (Menlo Park)
Floral design company in need of a part time to full time Delivery Driver/Design Studio support person.
We are open to more than one part time person to cover the shifts needed.
We are a full-service floral design studio, serving the Silicon Valley area.
We provide weekly services for corporate clients, events and weddings, as well as providing local services to valued private clients for their homes.
We love what we do and work hard to create an upbeat work environment that supports it’s employees while striving to provide the highest level of service to our clients.
THE JOB:
-- Deliver and install floral arrangements in corporate offices, private homes and events.
You will be the face of the company for many of our clients therefore, you must be personable, professional and engaging.
This is NOT a “drop off and run” kind of service.
Seeing clients, engaging with them, and installing arrangements in their spaces with care and intention and ensuring their satisfaction is a huge part of this role.
-- While in the studio you will be expected to help maintain cleanliness and organization.
Tasks include: sweeping, cleaning vases, prepping flowers, prepping vases for design, inventory and restocking, as well as maintaining our delivery van.
Prior experience with floral is great, but a willingness to learn and jump in when needed is more important.
A strong work ethic is required.
There is a lot of opportunities to grow with the company.
The hours which are needed is as follows (can be split into 2 four hour shifts per day):
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (hours may vary depending on demand, some weekends required)
You may be asked for additional hours if needed for an event or delivery.
We have our own van and gas is paid for.
You don’t have to drive your car.
Trial/training wages: $17.
00/hr to start.
REQUIREMENTS:
-- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
This position is ideal for a “people person”.
A positive attitude and friendly
demeanor are required.

You should be happy to jump in to help when/wherever needed.
-- Must have a presentable appearance - The company dress code for staff out in the field is a shop appointed shirt, which
are provided.
-- Be reliable and prompt.
We are a deadline driven business.
Early is on time.
On time is late.
Late is unacceptable.
-- Be able to maintain a calm demeanor while navigating through busy times of traffic.
-- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record required.
-- Can lift and move 40 lbs.
