A local retail store is looking for a full-time hardware manager for our San Bruno location.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to succeed
Ensuring the highest level of customer engagement
Ensure strategic department growth, staffing, and revenue for the department and store
Work directly with customers, merchandise, and staff
Manage trainees
Responsible for merchandising
Ensure the department complies with all safety, and labor regulations
Observes and coaches employees on methods for good customer service, interaction skills, and salesmanship
Manages purchases to maintain optimal inventory level
Maintain effective employee schedules
Promotes and supports company programs and promotions
Ensure that all department employees are trained to meet all performance and policy expectations.
Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
Requirements:
Applicants must have prior and/or management experience including strong customer service.
2-3 years retail hardware management experience
Great communication skills
Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
Passion for customer service
Salary range: $20-$25 per hour plus benefits.
