MULTI-UNIT MANAGER Bay Area The Multi-Unit Manager is responsible for the overall success and operation of the Boba Guys stores s/he leads while creating productive working atmospheres in our stores that align with Boba Guy mission statement and core values.
Primary responsibilities include leading, managing, and developing a team of Bobaristas, Shift Leads, and Managers-in-Training ensuring that all of our guests experience next level hospitality in accordance with our values, and operating the store to reach or exceed our financial and operational goals.
This person will be responsible for creating the overall vision for their assigned stores, establishing benchmarks for store teams and implementing policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their goals.
YOU WILL: Develop, inspire, and retain Bobaristas, Shift Leads, and Managers-in-Training, providing regular coaching and feedback to build their knowledge and skills.
Conduct in-store training for all new Bobaristas, Shift Leads, and Managers-in-Training by utilizing training tools and resources, including training tracker to monitor progress and attainment.
Develop an effective succession plan and engage in active recruiting of Bobaristas, Shift Leads, and Managers-in-Training.
Develop, inspire, and elevate Bobaristas, Shift Leads, and Managers-in-Training, providing regular coaching and feedback to build their knowledge and skills as team leaders, retail operators, and business owners.
Conduct manager training for all new Managers-in-training, supported by Boba Guys University and the District Manager.
Utilize training tools and resources, including training tracker to monitor progress and attainment.
Visit all stores within assigned territory on a regular basis to ensure Boba Guys standards, value, and culture are in practice at each store.
Develop and continuously refine the organizational structure such that it supports the needs of your stores throughout their lifecycle, from initial opening to maturity.
Ensure that those guest experiences and strategies are implemented efficiently and consistently across your stores.
Serve as the liaison between the District Manager and the store team, ensuring a clear and tight feedback loop across the organization.
Drive strong and continuously improving financial performance across your portfolio of Boba Guys stores.
Manage profitability of your portfolio by ensuring effective cost controls across labor and cost of goods.
Continuously seek opportunities to refine standard operating procedures in service of improving the guest experience and achieving our financial, strategic, and operational goals.
Ensure that the in-store operations are held to the highest standard across all stores and maintained consistently throughout your portfolio.
Foster opportunities for your teams to learn from other teams at Boba Guys, in service of both the guest experience and team member's development and personal growth.
Be the role model of hospitality and operational excellence for your team and every Boba Guys guest, reinforcing our company values of Quality, Radical Candor, Mindfulness, Resilience, and Giving a Damn.
Build a schedule and deploy a team that ensures maximum efficiency, maintains our high standards of hospitality, and balances the needs and capabilities of your team members.
Ensure efficient inventory levels by placing timely orders of appropriate quantities of all necessary materials, items, and services.
Demonstrate leadership of the store by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of the store's interior and exterior.
This includes facilitating monthly “deep cleanings” of the store.
Protect store assets and facilities at all times through complying and ensuring compliance with Boba Guys' policies and procedures for safety, health, security, maintenance, and cash handling.
Manage store promotions, store presentation, and visual merchandising.
Lead and oversee the training for each seasonal promotion and follow-up on the execution throughout the course of the promotion.
Communicate essential information in a clear and timely manner, maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to manage diverse teams with at least 40 team members.
Proven and on-going ability to drive sales and control costs.
Experience coaching, training, developing, and motivating others.

REQUIREMENTS: Two years of fast casual or beverage retail management and supervisory experience required.
Internal applicants must have 6 months of Boba Guys Store Manager experience Prolonged periods of standing on feet Willingness to travel between assigned stores daily and spend time in vehicles, trains or buses regularly.
Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds at times.
Ability to work full time (40 hours), including variable hours such as mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays.
Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States.
