Position Summary
Westman Atelier is seeking an energetic Beauty Advisor with a passion for clean, luxury beauty, to service our counter at Nordstrom.
Reporting to the Counter Manager, this hire will be responsible for achieving sales goal through their exceptional product knowledge, customer service, and sales.
The ideal candidate is a true ambassador of Westman Atelier with an entrepreneurial spirit, drive for excellence, and demonstrated experience in customer + retail management.
Note: This position will be a direct hire of Nordstrom and will be subject to their benefits.
Responsibilities:
Provide a luxury, interactive product knowledge + customer experience in alignment with Westman Atelier brand standards
Achieve required retail sales targets as communicated by the Counter Manager; Link sell to help grow Items Per Transaction and Average Basket Value
Demonstrate products on customers in accordance with proper hygiene guidelines
Attend and actively participate in training meetings, virtual or at-counter, as provided by the Sales and Education Team; implement learnings on the job
Maintain high standards of timekeeping on the counter
Ensure the counter maintains excellent VM standards and is regularly cleaned and restocked
Record and report all OOS to manager; follow up to ensure timely replenishment
Communicate regularly and effectively with in-store staff, management, and sales & education team; stay informed on all actions/event and establish close partnerships to drive initiatives
Ensure weekly + monthly sales reports & overview, store + event updates, and store performance + atmosphere is regularly communicated to the line manager
Requirements:
1-2 years of beauty/skin care sales experience; degree or certification in similar capacity, a plus
Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service, preferably in a beauty or luxury space
Ability to understand customers’ needs, and provide an interactive experience on product selection & make up application
Ability to adhere to brand and retailer image guidelines presented by Westman Atelier for Nordstrom
Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
