Hi,
We're searching for a cool, down-to-earth roommate to share a (slightly outdated, but CHEAP!) 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with us.
There are two of us, so we just want one of you.
The place is great! It has a large dining room and living room, a bonus sun room, good sized bedrooms (10'x10'), a laundry room with washer and dryer, a 2-car garage (there is also ample street parking), and a huge backyard with a large deck and grill.
We are in a great location--only 5-10 minutes from Target, Safeway, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Hillsdale shopping mall, downtown San Mateo and more! We are also only a couple blocks from Foster City's lagoons, parks and walking/biking trail, and the "Bay Trail" is also only minutes away! If you're a commuter, the on-ramps for 101 and 92 are both less than five minutes or less from the house, and Caltrain/BART stations are also nearby.
Your potential new roommates:
We are both males in our early 20's/early 30's who are professional, responsible, and down to earth.
We are chill and get along with everyone.
We both work and/or go to school full time, don't smoke, drink socially, and generally just like being comfortable, laid back and having fun in a relaxing, peaceful environment.
We aren't neat freaks but aren't super slobs either and try to keep the common areas looking nice.
Your space:
Your bedroom has a large window and closet with sliding doors.
It is across from the shared bathroom.
You will be sharing the bathroom with only one roommate.
(The other roommate is in the master bedroom and has their own bathroom).
You are:
1.
A SINGLE occupant.
This means no couples, kids or pets, please.
2.
Responsible.
This means you have a stable job, can afford to pay bills and rent on time every month, and also help out around the house.
3.
Relatively clean and tidy.
You are NOT:
1.
A smoker.
No smoking of any kind, including marijuana and hookah, is allowed inside the house.
2.
Passive aggressive.
We value people who are open, honest, non-judgmental and can communicate face-to-face without easily taking offense.
3.
A partier.
Don't get us wrong - we like to have fun too, but just don't want raves going down nightly or lots of random people coming in and out.
We'd like someone around our age (late 20's to early 30's).
Also, we prefer someone who is looking for a long-term situation, not just a seasonal rental.
Rent is $1,050/month plus utilities and a one-time refundable security deposit of $400.
Utilities are usually around $100 -$150/person in the warm months but can exceed $200 in the cold months (includes PG&E, Comcast high-speed internet, and trash/recycling).
No one-liner or shady replies, please.
Sorry, but our time is valuable, and we will not reply unless you put some effort into your response, so please tell us about yourself.
