As a side note, when roommates wish to have friends over for a meal or visit, I try to work in other parts of the house so that each roommate can feel like they own the place exclusively.

The bedroom offered has an attached additional room that can be reached by a ladder.
It has been used as an office, painting studio, and yoga spot.
The bedroom is 11 by 13, and the attached studio is 12 by 7.

The Ceiling height in the studio is 69 inches on the low side of the room, and 8 foot on the high side.
It has 3 casement windows, and an operable skylight making it very bright, winter and summer.
The bedroom shares a bathroom with the other roommate, a 30 year old~ female, ex-Peace Corps, Cal Poly/BU graduate.
The house has a lot of public areas to share including a media room, living room, dining room, sun room, plus the usual country home necessities such as a mud room, laundry/pantry area, and a downstairs half bath.
Many basics are included, including paper products, salt, sugar, flour, rice, eggs, and home roasted coffee.
These are part of the package, but not required if you prefer your own brands.
I try to buy organic when available.
The kitchen is a cooks paradise with many high end cooking tools including a 6 burner Wolf range, Bakerlux pastry oven, toaster oven and regular wall oven.
A special dog may be considered, if chicken friendly, we have free range hens living on the property.
The exterior and interior have just been painted, and the floors have new urethane two months ago.
We live an easy, low stress commute to Peninsula cities, for example, Stanford University is only 16 miles and roughly a 32 minutes drive.
San Francisco airport is 46 minutes away.
Low crime, small town lifestyle makes for a happy life.
It takes only 35 minutes to down town Palo Alto, and for me, the peacefulness of this town is worth every minute of the drive.
The town has miles of trails and dirt roads for quiet hiking or bike riding.
Many community events make it easy for the socially inclined to meet new friends.
our house is only nine miles to the beach.
The town also provides a swimming pool, riding rink, and tennis court.
The swimming pool was just refinished and is free to residents.
Living out here is a pleasant change from the unceasingly frenetic peninsula.
I always advise that a person considering this place make a visit to help with your decision.
It is a compelling place to live, and so much better than your typical city room share.
