Room in Lower Haight
Small, cozy room opening up in our 5br/2ba Lower Haight Apartment January 1st (potentially earlier)! The apartment is in an unbeatable central location – walking distance from Lower Haight, Hayes Valley, Fillmore District, Divisadero/NoPa, and Japantown, and just a few blocks from Alamo Square Park! It’s an incredibly friendly neighborhood, and we’ve come to know & love a lot of our neighbors!
The room has a large window, tall ceilings, a built-in loft for additional storage, and gets lots of sunlight.
Room is approximately 65 sq.
ft.
The apartment has 2 shared full bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and small balcony off the kitchen.
This room, while petite, can fit a full size bed, a desk, and a small wardrobe or dresser (plus plenty of storage capacity in the loft).
The existing furniture shown in the photos is available for use as well.
We are also open to anyone interested in renting this room as a working space, studio, music room, or for other uses! We are looking for a short-term occupant for January 1 through April 30, though there may be the possibility to extend longer.
Street parking nearby is 2-hr unless with permit Mon-Fri (and generally easy to find a spot).
We’re conveniently along the Muni-22 line; the bus stop is just across the street.
We’re a short 10-minute walk from a Safeway, Whole Foods, Bi-Rite, and the J & N muni metro lines.
BART is also easily accessible via a 10-min muni ride.
Utilities average around ~$75/month, and we also have a cleaner come once monthly (another $30 per month).
There’s not security deposit required.
The Roommates:
Jules: (she/her, 31).
Born in San Jose, she grew up outside of Sacramento and spent her college years in LA before returning to the bay, which she’s considered home for the last 9 years.
She’s a bi social butterfly who loves to get down on a dance floor.
She’s a 5-time burner who loves her communities and bridging connections between them! She’s spent much of this year hopping from one music/art festival to the next and cozying up to her kittens while recovering in between.
She’s the queen of rainbows and sparkles, loves a good game night with roomies, enjoys yoga and getting out in nature, and is always up for a good park day hang or catching some live music.
For work, she’s in HR/Office Admin in the robotics space.
Maggie: (she/her, 29).
Moved to San Francisco last April from Vienna and is still adapting to the quirks of the american way of life (“why are bars closing at 2am?”), but feels more and more comfortable so far away from the known.
During the week she’s doing medical research at UCSF, but although she likes it a lot, would not identify through her job.
She likes interior design, crafting, wine, barre and pilates, the atmosphere when it snows, vegetarian food and techno.
She enjoys meeting new, interesting people with whom she can have meaningful interactions of various kinds.
George: (he/him, 34).
Works in the service industry, on their days off they can be found at the beach watching the waves & hiking along our beautiful coastline.
Runs a small Etsy shop in their spare time and loves long hot showers, jogs, fitness classes, museum/gallery visits, beautiful perfume & good vibes.

Lyndsey: (she/her, 29): Moved to the Bay Area from Baltimore in June to get certified in Sex Therapy.
Works remotely as a therapist and is passionate about challenging mental health stigmas and making mental healthcare more accessible.
She’s an extroverted introvert who loves a night out dancing, spending time with friends, and recharging via horror, period pieces, and/or trash reality tv binges.
An avid collector of random knick knacks, she’s a frequent flyer at local thrift stores, antique shops, record stores, and flea markets.
Virgo Sun/Libra Moon/Aquarius Rising
Ziggy & Stardust: 1-year-old bonded kittens.
Ziggy is the free-spirit wild child who loves hunting her faux mice, climbing up her jungle gym, sitting in any box she finds, and being brushed.
Stardust (aka Dusty) is the ultimate lap-cat who loves endless pets and cuddles, and she’ll be your new best friend if you feed her some treats.

We’re looking for someone easy going, community-minded, interested in socializing with the other roommates, but no pressure to hang out.
Respectful and clean, open communicator, willing to pitch in on house chores and wants to foster a pleasant living environment, and okay with the occasional house party or get together (our house loves a good theme)! Hopefully you love cats, but at least don’t hate them and aren’t allergic.
