Welcome to the Boathouse! If you've always dreamed about living on the water while staying in the heart of the Bay Area, look no further.
Our house sits directly on the water of the Mariner's Island community of San Mateo (about a 3 minute drive to the intersection of 92 and 101).
It's like being on permanent vacation.
The house offers access to a swimming pool and a hot tub.
It's got a deck that literally sits on top of the lagoon with a private dock with a kayak.
The house also has a full-sized kitchen, dining room, driveway, a fireplace, and a solarium.
The garage provides ample storage space and a washer and dryer.
We are also a five minute walk to the Bay Trail, a small beach popular for kitesurfing, a golf course, and public park.
Target and grocery stores are super close.
Its a truly amazing location.
There are four occupied bedrooms total in the house.
All bedrooms are on the second floor with stairs.
Three bedrooms share an upstairs bathroom with a shower.
There is also a half bathroom (no shower) downstairs for communal use.
$1650 main bedroom: The room itself is a large, main bedroom.
It has two large windows that let in plenty of light.
There lots of cabinet space and a private sink in the room.
It has its own fireplace.
Shared bathroom (with people from two other rooms).
Available 1/24.
Preference is for someone to stay 3+ months.
The room is available furnished or unfurnished.
Upon move in, first month + last month rent is due via Venmo.
Rent is due via Venmo on the 15th of each month.
The last months rent serves as a deposit.
Upon giving a 30 day notice of moving out, it will be applied as your last month of rent.
The prices include all utilities such as gas, trash, heat, wifi, basic shared household cleaning supplies, and having a house cleaner come once a month.
Street parking in the neighborhood is available.
No parking permit is needed.
We are not immediately near public transportation, so it's highly recommended you have your own vehicle to get around.
