The Alliances team is responsible for working with Facebook’s largest and most strategic partners to deepen our relationships with those companies, while working closely with cross-functional teams across all of our businesses and products.
We are looking for a Strategic Alliances Partnerships Manager who is passionate about technology and business strategy to support one of our most strategic product and platform partnerships with Apple.
The role will work closely with Facebook’s cross-functional teams to ensure new products and features adhere to Apple’s policies, while taking advantage of new OS features, as relevant.
The role will improve internal processes, help maintain internal documentation and create new articles/educational materials on an as-needed basis.
The Partner Manager will also help drive the strategic engagement and goals for our work with Apple, and help brainstorm how to better engage with them
Partner Manager, Strategic Alliances Responsibilities:
Drive projects and ensure progress on priority workstreams, building decision-making frameworks and deliverables both within and across organizations.
Foster relationships and work with cross-functional and product partners to understand their needs and ideas on how to better collaborate.
Own internal process that ensures all new Facebook products and features adhere to Apple's policies and guidelines.
Own internal new product/feature review process.
Provide timely support to product teams on new products and features.
Manage ongoing communication with teams and execs to report on status
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working with Apple technology and proficiency in using Apple products.
5+ years experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting or similar.
Experience in the mobile industry, working with technology, internet, telecom or digital media companies.
Experience building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
Experience in leading process improvement projects with a proven record of increasing operational efficiency.
Experience delivering executive communications and delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholders including senior-level leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Strategy, Finance, Engineering and/or Computer Science/Statistics.
Experience working at large-scale companies directly with management and others at all levels, both inside and outside of a company.
Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and being keen in identifying problems and proactively work towards solutions.
