We are seeking a highly experienced Veterinary Technician to join our leadership team as Technician Supervisor.
VCA Holly Street Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care to dogs and cats and in the San Francisco Peninsula Communities.
We have been an important part of our communities for over 17 years.

You have worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you have invested your time and talent in.
This is a working supervisory position responsible for the leadership and development of the patient care team.
Technical skills that you will be utilizing include:
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Anesthesia monitoring
Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry
Radiology
Laboratory work
Venipuncture
Catheter placement
Pharmacy
Patient recovery
Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
Supervisory duties will include:
Team training, development and support
Implementing department policies and procedure
Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings
Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs
Record keeping
Marketing
Facility maintenance
Strong technician skills are required.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
The pay range for this position is $30-$35 / hour depending on experience.
