What you'll do.

As the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Analytics, you will provide business insights to drive measurable performance of Media channels: DPS (Display & Paid Social), Affiliates (Core, Content, Influencers), CRM (Email & Push), and other new and emerging channels.
You will provide a holistic view of cross-funnel performance, and will identify opportunities to efficiently drive incremental sales, profit and customer engagement metrics to meet short and long-term enterprise goals.
You will partner closely with Marketing Analytics' Data science, and Customer Data Science teams on measurement & optimization methods and on utilizing existing models and tools (MMM, MTA, Customer Segments) to develop relevant and timely insights which inform the optimal way to invest in each of the media channels keeping in mind the inter-relationship between various channels.
You will develop experiments and tests (in partnership with various experimentation teams) relevant for each media channel to help inform incrementality of the media channel using causal method.
Given the size and scale of the Marketing at Walmart investment this position will be highly visible and have an opportunity to make a significant impact across the entire organization.
A balance of analytical skills as well as strong organization and communication skills is key.
Knowledge of marketing and media channels is absolutely critical for success in this role.
You will make an impact by: Lead analysis and reporting on Media channel performance (Display, Paid Social, Affiliates, CRM, and other new and emerging channels) to evaluate and optimize marketing campaigns and strategies across both lower funnel performance media as well as upper funnel brand marketing.
Build customer views to understand the impact of Marketing on customers across all stages of the buying lifecycle including New User Acquisition, Engagement/Retention, and Reactivation and the role of each media channel throughout the customer journey.
Co-lead efforts to build credibility and adoption for advanced marketing measurement methods (MMM, MTA) as central decision support tools for Media Channel Marketing teams, and lead change management towards utilizing MMM/MTA vs.
Last Touch Attribution across all media channel teams Integrate disparate data sources and leverage state-of-the-art analytics best practices to deliver integrated actionable insights to partners and senior leadership.
Partner with the Data Engineering team to define data architecture and in-house tool and data lake requirements Consult with senior leadership/ business partners (e.
g.
, SVP, VP, Sr.
Directors/Directors) to understand overall goals/functional objectives, decipher key business challenges, identify tactics to anticipate and mitigate business challenges/issues and develop potential success criteria.
Building & maintaining strong working relationships across departments or teams based on trust and mutual respect.
Communicating with senior stakeholders to balance stakeholder and analytics perspectives.
Communicating technical material with clear data visualization and compelling narrative to a range of audiences to provide insight into the factors impacting business performance.
Leading and managing a team of onshore and offshore analysts, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that junior analysts have the resources they need to be successful.
Focus efforts on items that have maximum impact to the business.
You'll sweep us off our feet if: You have strong working knowledge of Marketing Mix Models, Multi-Touch Attribution Models, Customer Segmentation and incrementality measurement approaches.
You have an expertise in nuances of key digital media channels (email, push, affiliates, display, social etc.
) towards driving returns with full funnel marketing investment and strategy.
You consider yourself a power user of Microsoft PowerPoint adept at creating visually appealing and insightful slide decks to effectively communicate complex concepts and analytical findings.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics of related filed and 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
Expert at SQL and Excel - ability to manipulate large quantities of data to drive business decisions is a must.
4+ years of experience leading cross functional teams and influencing Product, Finance, Business Operations and Engineering.
Strong organizational skills, a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and the ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, and be a self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics, or eCommerce Analytics with experience working with marketers to maximize marketing contribution to business performance goals.
6+ years of experience leading cross functional teams and influencing partner teams.
MBA or Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
4+ years of digital analytics OR digital marketing analytics experience in a retail and/or eCommerce environment.
Experience using R and/or Python to manipulate data, build models and draw insights from large data sets Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques to build and implement models that optimize marketing performance Knowledge of statistical concepts and Test/Control methodologies (A/B and multivariate testing) Working knowledge of Digital Marketing Channels (at least CPC Paid Search and Programmatic Display).
Preference will be given to candidates with experience optimizing paid media channels through advanced Marketing and Ad Technology (i.
