Used Hagan ski tour boots, Mondo 23, free, possibly dangerous (redwood shores)

Hagan ski touring boots.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: these are backcountry touring boots.
If you don't know what that means, you don't need these boots.
I have never seen backcountry boots with a walk/ski shift like this one.
It is NOT RELIABLE.
That is, my daughter has skied these boots and had them suddenly shift from ski to walk.
This is POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS in steep terrain.
This is most likely a general design flaw in the boots that you cannot correct.
Understand that if you end up with these boots, they MAY BE DANGEROUS.
Unfortunately, free stuff on Craigslist brings out the flakes.
Don't be one of them.
