ORGANIZATION
The mission of Ravenswood Family Health Network (RFHN) is to improve the health of the community by providing culturally sensitive, integrated primary and preventative health care to all, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status, and collaborating with community partners to address the social determinants of health.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician I will independently perform a range of maintenance work, including but not limited to periodic system maintenance, repairing and installing equipment for clinical, electrical, plumbing, painting and patching, assisting with moves, interfacing with vendors, and other work to maintain the operations of building infrastructure as well as ensure the safety of occupants and building users.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be performed in accordance with RFHN Policies and Procedures
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance assessment, repairs, and upgrades.
Sets up offices and clinic spaces, including equipment assembly for occupants.
Accepts deliveries, reviews delivered items for condition, signs off delivery bills based on findings.
Retrieves and delivers equipment from RFHN buildings.
Follows all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
Loads, unloads, and transports products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or other client locations.
Ability to safely use carts, forklifts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles for work
Assists with organizing and maintaining stored inventory and storage area.
Stores equipment in a manner that prevents damage and exposure to dust and debris.
Carries out installation, maintenance, repair, and construction projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Maintains tools and equipment in clean, good working order.
Assists with setting up and tearing down tents, tables, chairs, and other structures for events.
Assists with parking lot duties, including safety, security, and valet parking for events.
Must participate in all Disaster Preparedness activities and organizational All Staff meetings.
Works collaboratively as a team member in a professional manner.
Adheres to Ravenswood Family Health Network’s organizational policies and procedures and supports philosophies and initiatives.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Up to date with COVID-19 vaccines per current CDC guidelines required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Familiar with maintenance related to:
Light electrical
Carpentry
Plumbing
General maintenance functions
Demonstrates safe handling of tools and other equipment to prevent injury to self or others.
Possession of a California Driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively both orally and in writing.
Experience working effectively with a multi-cultural and economically diverse population.
Must have good work planning, time management, and organizational skills.
The pay range for this position is $25.
00 to $30.
00 per hour.
However, the final base salary will be determined upon a number of individualized factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education and certification levels, and departmental budget.
