Centrillion is seeking a creative, energetic, resourceful Material Sciences and Process Research Engineer/Scientist to join a multidisciplinary research team developing new technologies.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to design and develop new technologies for genomics research and diagnostic applications.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the research, development, and implementation of innovative technologies and manufacturing processes.
Specify, procure, and evaluate manufacturing components, materials, reagents, and systems.
Manage pilot production tools, instruments, and systems, ensuring their calibration and maintenance.
Coordinate R&D and pilot operations, optimizing processes for scalability and performance.
Collaborate across disciplines, managing proof-of-concept projects and facilitating technical discussions.
Support the operational testing of manufactured products and document all process stages in compliance with relevant quality standards.
Requirements:
An MS/Ph.
D.
in Material Sciences, Electrical Engineering (with a focus on microfabrication), Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Bioengineering, or a BS with significant relevant experience.
A strong preference for candidates with industry experience in manufacturing process development.
Essential hands-on laboratory skills in chemistry, microfabrication, and materials science.
Experience in wafer manufacturing and clean room operations in the semiconductor/microelectronics industry is highly desirable.
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $70,000 to $105,000 per year.
The pay ultimately offered may vary based on objective considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
An annual cash bonus and equity grants may be provided as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to a full range of financial, health and wellness benefits, depending on the position offered.
