A Laborer should possess a fundamental understanding of construction and be able to operate different construction equipment and tools.
Duties and Responsibilities: Hand dig and back fill trenches Assist in pushing and pulling conduit and cable Trained to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws Drive pick-up and one-ton vehicles to and from job site Carry and load materials to be used on the job Follow all company safety policies and practices Wash and clean vehicles and equipment Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed Other duties as assigned Essential Education and Qualifications: Good verbal communication skills Valid Driver’s License Valid DOT Health Card Preferred Skills: Class A Driver’s License (CDL) Physical Demands: Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds MP offers: Competitive wage MP covers cost to obtain CDL and provides hourly increase once received Full benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Employee Stock Purchasing 401(k) Plan with employer match Pay Scale: $20-$35/hr Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
