Job Summary and Mission*
The ERP Clerk will be responsible for releasing and closing batches within the company's ERP system for Shaw manufacturing facility.
In addition, the ERP Clerk will be responsible for entering transactions related to movement, materials consumption, and labor usage of all production batch orders with accuracy and verifying the returned material quantities are correct.
The ERP clerk will work closely with the Production Departments, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to develop the production run plan and communicate material shortages and availability for each day across all shifts within the production departments.
The ERP Clerk will report directly to the Production Manager.
*Summary of Key Responsibilities*
* Opens production work orders within the ERP and issues them daily to the floor, including printing and preparing work order packets.
* Tracks all work orders production data (material usage, labor, output, waste) daily and coordinates sign off from production supervisors.
* Identifies gaps and discrepancies and escalates to the Production Manager.
* Track all production data within the ERP system daily for each production work order and close work orders.
* Support Plant management in researching labor and material variances and report back to Finance daily.
* Supports the Planning and Production Managers in the scheduling of key personnel.
* Verifies and validates inventory levels as needed in collaboration with warehouse team.
* Participates in cycle counts and inventory counts.
* Supports the production team with any needed training and creates 1-point lessons for various aspects of the ERP system.
* Supports Production team reviewing adherence to ERP SOPs and creation of new ones as needed.
* Train employees on ERP documentation requirements, SOP’s and transactions as needed.
* Supports Plant Director and Production Manager on any process improvement projects and tests as needed.
* Reviews Sage data and transactions process to follow up with production supervisors and make the necessary corrections.

* Experience with Microsoft Office 2+ years
* Manufacturing experience preferred 1-3 years
*Basic Qualifications*
