The Digital Manufacturing Systems team is seeking a highly motivated senior enginer to help imagine and invent technology used to perfect the next generation of Ford manufacturing.

Experience with data persistence and manipulation (snowflake, splunk, etc.

Experience or strong interest in Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning (college coursework, certificates, experience)

Description
You will be building software and collaborating across a broad spectrum of teams and various factory, IT, and testing teams to design and develop innovative solutions for Ford’s factory lines.
You will also enjoy responsibility for maintaining and improving existing software.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Creative thinking about highly complex challenges at scale
- Anticipating the needs of our end customers often before they do
- Create tools, dashboards and large scale data stores.
- Perform code reviews and redesign existing
- Develop unit test plans and integration plans and help debug production issues
- Utilize Git, Git Flow, and bug tracking systems in day to day development processes
- Provide constructive feedback for testability and suitable solutions relying on data to support technical decisions
- Some travel will be required (25-35%)
