Responsibilities Mainspring is growing rapidly and starting to ramp the manufacture of its Linear Generators.
We are looking for a skilled production control planner to help in developing our internal manufacturing capability to handle the increase in volume by helping develop and improve our planning methods and inventory control/accuracy.
You will be responsible for providing coordination for all manufacturing MAKE parts and sub-assemblies.
Additional responsibilities include: planning and managing manufacturing build plans, running and communicating the Clear To Build (CTB) analysis, and line side replenishment processes (Kanban, VMI).
Collaborating with our procurement/supply chain team(s), you will be key in ensuring parts shortages are addressed upfront and will not impact the production line.
You will work with and lead cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, NPI, and quality, to help drive build line up-time improvement.
Eventually, you will be a key user and support the continued development and operation of the ERP/MRP system.
The role requires active collaboration with cross-functional teams and high motivation to make everyone maximally efficient in working with the manufacturing team and contract manufacturers (CMs).
Key job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Plan a build schedule based on customer delivery requirements, material availability and lead-time Work with manufacturing leaders and Sourcing to plan, release, and close work orders Work with inventory and Supply Chain to ensure data integrity within MRP maintaining inventory accuracy and establishing root cause/solutions when inaccuracies arise Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOPs as well as in our MRP system Diligently manage CTB to ensure part availability and avoid any manufacturing line down; promptly address and resolve any issues that arise through a strategic and creative approach to problem-solving Collaborate with engineering and other departments to identify and correct any Bill Of Material issues Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably a business or supply chain-related degree At least 3 years of related experience in materials planning or production control.
Additional experience in supply chain/procurement is a plus Skilled Excel user with a high level of understanding of MRP & ERP systems Proven track record of efficient and effective cross-functional collaboration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
The Bay Area salary for this role is $70k-$90k base + pre-IPO stock options + benefits.
This position can be hybrid.
The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee.
