*Windows Desktop Engineer*
Company's Windows Desktop Engineer is responsible for enabling high-quality user support by providing tooling and analytics to our Client Services (Help Desk, Tier I & II) team.
Ranging from providing hardware recommendations to packaging and deploying software company wide, the role is multifaceted and ever-evolving.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform Windows installation, configurations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities on desktop, laptop and virtual machines, installation of software releases patches of the operating system and utilities and third-party products
* Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, distributing and enforcing standard policy, configurations and applications
* Perform desktop administration tasks across thousands of Windows machines
* Contributor to Incident and Problem Management processes
* Understand and anticipate business needs and address issues reported by customers
* User support / Problem resolution
* Be accountable for your work
*Required Skills*
* Strong hands-on experience in Windows (10/11) administration
* 5+ years experience in managing large scale Windows Desktop deployments in production environments
* Demonstrated experience in handling day-to-day Windows OS installation, migration, and break-fix support
* Advanced knowledge of and experience distributing standard configurations using tools such as Intune, GPO, or VMware DEM
* Hands on experience in building PowerShell scripts for automation and endpoint monitoring
* Experience using Change/Incident Management tools such as Jira
* Must be residing locally and work onsite a minimum 3 days a week
*Preferred Skills*
* Experience with VMware Horizon and DEM
* Experience with macOS and/or Linux desktop management
