Plant Health Care Technician (san carlos)

Well-established Tree Company has an immediate opening for a plant health spray technician.
Position Overview: Performs fertilization and pest management on trees, and shrubs using spray and injection tools by performing the following.
* Properly identify and diagnose insects, fungus conditions, and pest-prone areas.
* Communicate and educate clients regarding diagnostics and the prescribed pest control and fertilizing service.
* Perform the prescribed fertilization pest management on trees and shrubs using spray and injection tools.
* Drive, use, maintain and properly operate truck and spray equipment.
Qualifications: * Excellent customer service.
* Love the outdoors.
* Preferred: Background in horticulture or Landscaping.
* Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates if required by state law.
* Valid driver's license with clean DMV record.
* Valid social security * Able to communicate with clients in English.
* Willing to train the right candidate.
