Role Summary: Rivian is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to expand its data analytics and financial reporting capabilities.
This role will be the liaison between Manufacturing, Finance and accounting, and People to bring visibility and reporting to help our Manufacturing organization stay informed and make better decisions.
You will leverage your technical skills and passion for data automation to enhance storytelling about production ramp and cost reductions.
This role is based out of our sites in Palo Alto, CA or Normal, IL in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities: Reporting and Business Partnering Build out people analytics capability by joining labor information with financial data to formulate manufacturing efficiency metrics and KPIs Automate recurring reports and live dashboards for key metrics across the Operations organization in PowerBI and/or Tableau Consult and develop ad-hoc reporting needs from Operations Finance team members Data Management and Analytics Scale dataflow and blend various sources from databases, forecast systems, Excel files, etc.
to centralized data lake Improve ETL process by converting manual transformation into queries or scripts and by leveraging scheduled refreshes in data tools such as Tableau Prep, SQL, Python, dbt, Databricks, etc.
Partner with Finance Data Analytics, Manufacturing Accounting, and other Finance teams to establish and single source of truth System Implementation Support Partner with Finance BI Data & Analytics team and support EPM implementation projects, particularly for Oracle, by providing team requirements and feedback and performing user testing to ensure system’s functionalities Identify opportunities to automate and increase operational efficiency, and propose solution options, and implement solutions Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Engineering, or relevant field 3+ years of related experience in Finance, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Consulting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Logistics Analytical and problem-solving skill with the ability to connect data from multiple sources and build financial models from the ground up with imperfect data Ability to translate between technical data engineering requirements and business context, and communicate business implications from data clearly and concisely, written and verbally Hands-on experience or interest to learn Business Intelligence/ Data Analytics tools (e.
g.
PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, etc.
) within cloud-based environments (e.
g.
