YOUR DAY TO DAY: Performs routine technical assignments such as constructing, testing, troubleshooting, finishing, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic and mechanical equipment, tubes, microwave products, and electro-mechanical devices, components, and systems under direct supervision.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Works to construct a variety of microwave tube devices within a product line per written procedures, instructions, and mechanical drawings.
Performs routine electronic, mechanical, and technical tasks such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, tubes, microwave products, electro-mechanical devices, components, and systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings, written and verbal instructions.
Operates related electronic, mechanical and laboratory equipment necessary to assemble, test, evaluate process, repair, and maintain specific product or equipment.
Performs all functions necessary to take a product from its initial stage to its final assembly.
Organizes and records measured data per manufacturing documentation.
Prepares prescribed compounds and solution for use in processing, etching, and metalizing materials.
Performs calibration and alignment checks on electronic or mechanical equipment.
Conducts routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing and reports data in prescribed format.
Works in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment with specific production objectives for cycle-time and throughput.
Develops skill and knowledge in specific products or equipment.
Works to specific safety, quality and security requirements and instructions.
Maintains assigned work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE: TIG/GTAW welding experience a plus.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to Lift 25 pounds.
Good English Communication Skills.
Familiarity with and able to follow safety practices.
Ability to Read mechanical drawings.
Ability to use microscope for extended periods of time a plus.
Reliable & dependent.
Ability/willingness to work OT and weekends.
Proficiency in using computer and using all computer tools required, like: Look up drawings.
RN Timecard Entry.
Use databases necessary at each area.
Use of Ultipro and LMS.
Basic Excel spreadsheets Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
Basic problem-solving skills.
Must have zeal for quality and conformance to engineering standards.
Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees to meet department goals.
Willingness to support the team by demonstrating commitment and willingness to take additional responsibilities and do what is needed to get the job done.
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
