Part Time Glazier/Installer

Our work environment includes: * Safe work environment * On-the-job training *Job Description* San Mateo Glass Company is looking for someone who has been a Glazier to assist the Head Glazier in production and operations and to undertake the task of repairing, restoring, and replacing commercial and residential buildings and structures.
As an Associate Glazier, you will be responsible for providing services to our clients to ensure the completion of their projects in a timely manner.
The Glazier will assist in the all installations and work closely under the direction of the Head Glazier.
The goal is to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the workmanship and promptness of our service.
As a Glazier you will eventually need to obtain a valid Glazier license .
You will be supported by the previous owner of 41 years.
*Requirements:* Requirements * *Minimum (2) years working as a Glazier for commercial clients* * A high school diploma or GED equivalent * A valid driver’s license with a good driving record * A clean driving record * Pass a background check and drug test * Be able to lift a min of 75 pounds * Be able to stand for long periods of time * Be able to work in inclement weather conditions (outdoors) * Be able to safely operate all equipment including power tools and hand tools * Must maintain a Workplace Safety Program Responsibilities: * Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
* Select appropriate tools and equipment for each job site location; prepare work orders for all jobsite locations; supervise crew members while performing all job site tasks; maintain safety precautions at all job site locations; complete daily log entries; monitor progress at each location; report any issues or concerns at each location.
* Interact with General Contractors for Commercial and Residential jobs.
Interact with Residential Customers on job site.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $27.
50 - $30.
