Position Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Tile Setters to join our team and support our work in the Atherton, Woodside, and San Francisco areas.
As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing various types of tiles in upscale residential properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and outdoor spaces.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and a commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship in every aspect of their work.
Responsibilities:
-Execute precise tile installations in accordance with architectural plans and design specifications.
-Work with a variety of tile materials, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and natural stone, to achieve luxurious and visually stunning results.
-Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless coordination and integration of tile work into overall construction projects.
-Prepare surfaces, including waterproofing and leveling as needed, to ensure optimal conditions for tile installation.
-Cut, shape, and place tiles using advanced techniques and tools to achieve intricate patterns and designs.
-Apply grout, sealants, and other finishing materials to enhance durability and aesthetics.
-Conduct quality inspections to ensure that finished tile work meets the highest standards of excellence.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Tile Setter with a focus on high-end residential projects.
-Expertise in installing a wide range of tile materials, including intricate patterns and designs.
-Strong understanding of construction principles and techniques, including surface preparation, waterproofing, and tile layout.
-Ability to interpret architectural plans and design specifications accurately.
-Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a passion for delivering flawless results.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
-Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and work in various environments.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
-Flexibility to work on projects located throughout the Bay Area, particularly in Atherton, Woodside, and San Francisco.
Pay based on experience and expertise.
$30-$45 per hour
