Lead Plumber

MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE USA Baron Contracting is looking for a highly motivated Plumber who is interested to be trained as a Gas Leak Survey Technician.
The ideal candidate is a dependable, experienced professional with a strong background in plumbing or gas leak surveying.
This challenging and rewarding role involves surveying both facilities and piping systems to identify gas leaks and report findings back to the company.
The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities • Accurately and safely survey a variety of gas pipelines and associated facilities on time, according to company protocols • Locate and identify the causes of gas leaks • Formulate necessary reporting and documentation • Operate a variety of surveying and measurement instruments • Maintain accurate documentation of survey work, leak repairs, and other related activities • Create sketches or drawings of surveyed areas when necessary Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required • Basic understanding of gas systems and leakage requirements • Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations related to gas surveying and repair processes • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Ability to lift items up to 50 lb • Physically fit and able to work away from home for extended periods of time as necessary • Clean driving record and valid driver's license • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Ability to use a variety of digital and computer-based instruments • Ability to organize work efficiently and accurately and complete tasks on time Plumbing experience a plus.
