What we’re looking for.
We are recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Project Executive / Development Lead to be our on-site lead ensuring the successful delivery of a multi-phase campus consolidation and expansion project which includes technical R&D facility with significant cleanroom space, a parking structure, demolition of existing buildings, substation expansion and site utility relocations/expansions.
In this role, you will inspire and manage a team of 5-10 direct reports, a large team of owner and project stakeholders, and multiple vendors under varying contract and delivery structures.
The Project Executive will have responsibility to ensure that project team members and stakeholders are performing to assigned scope while adhering to agreed-upon commitments, schedules, and budgets.
Responsibilities: Lead the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while specifically considering clean room and semiconductor manufacturing specifications.
Develop and maintain project execution plans, including tasks, milestones, and deliverables, and allocate resources accordingly.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure the seamless execution of the project.
Manage and monitor project progress on a day-to-day basis and provide regular and accurate updates to key stakeholders.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to ensure project objectives are met.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a positive and productive project culture.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, client and environmental requirements throughout the project duration.
Prepare and present project reports, including financial statements, feasibility studies, and progress updates.
Maintain a commitment to ethical and professional behavior, adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements as well as JLL’s Code of Conduct.
Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
LEED accreditation (and/or other sustainability experience) with current educational requirements preferred.
Professional certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), are a plus.
Proven experience as a Project Executive or in a similar senior role, with successful delivery of complex real estate development projects in clean room and manufacturing environments.
Experience managing construction for advanced facilities for collaborative semiconductor process technology and manufacturing equipment R&D.
Extensive knowledge of clean room design and manufacturing facility requirements, including HVAC, clean room classification, contamination control, equipment integration, and industry-specific regulatory compliance.
Experience in the South Bay (i.
e.
, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, etc.
) Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and ability to effectively present information and influence audiences and outcomes for the benefit of the project.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including consultant reports/investigations, construction plans, engineering drawings, and venture documents.
Ability to solve problems creatively and collaboratively, involving several options in situations.
Requires sophisticated analytical and quantitative skills.
Knowledge and understanding of construction practices/techniques, contract management, contract law, project controls, schedule, and budget controls.
Demonstrated record of leading complex development projects from inception to completion Ability to travel to and be present on-site 5 days per week.
Demonstrated expertise in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire project teams to deliver successful client and project outcomes.
