Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Facilities Engineer.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the site's leadership team, ensuring the health and safety of our 100 employees and maintaining a clean, functional facility.
This hands-on position involves making physical changes to equipment, processes, and structures.

A Day in the Life
Monitor pollution prevention activities, compliance, and auditing efforts.
Conduct studies and prepare environmental impact reports for construction projects, plant processes, and permit changes.
Review and analyze environmental documentation issued by regulatory agencies, collaborating with them to determine corrective action plans.
Evaluate proposed regulations for financial, industrial, public, and environmental impact.
Interact with regulatory bodies to resolve compliance issues, establish permit requirements, and assist in regulatory audits
Represent the company in government and industry rule-making activities.
Ensure appropriate corrective action is taken where environmental, health, and safety hazards exist.
Identify and take corrective action against activities that pose potential threats to workers’ health or safety, including recommending organizational measures, inspecting workplace environments and equipment, and investigating incidents.
Provide and promote employee awareness/training on environmental, health, and safety matters.
Manage the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities.
Plan, budget, and implement facility modifications, including estimating equipment, labor, materials, and related costs.
Design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
Oversee the coordination of building space allocation, layout, communication services, and facilities expansion.
Establish and oversee health and safety standards.
Coordinate with building management and local service providers.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of EHS and/or Facilities experience OR advanced degree and 2+ years
Knowledge of Building Automation Systems
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Software programs
Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
Nice to Have
Experience with Ergonomics
Building maintenance experience
REES, BMRAM, and Enablon experience
