Seasonal Production Technician, Humanoid Actuators, Tesla Bot

What to Expect The Optimus Actuator Team designs and builds electromechanical actuators for the humanoid robot program (Tesla Bot).
This role joins our brand-new Proto Line, critical to the development of high-performance electromechanical rotary and linear actuator systems for Tesla Bot.
The Proto Production Technician will join this team during times of peak need, to assemble the most torque and power dense humanoid actuators in the world.
The successful candidate for this position must have experience with assembly of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.
What You’ll Do Assemble electromechanical actuators Execute on priorities and production plans provided by the Production Supervisor and Program Manager Ensure quality standards are met throughout the entire production process and provide feedback to improve the process and design Ensure safety standards are met by all team members on the prototype production line Work cross-functionally with manufacturing and design engineers Document build issues and deviations Support issue resolution including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking What You’ll Bring Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment 3+ year experience in the field of manufacturing assembly of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems Highly motivated, willing to learn on the job Ability to read basic drawings and assembly instructions, interpret metric/imperial tolerances MS Office – including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook highly preferred Experience using Jira and Confluence highly preferred
