TELACU Construction Management (TCM) is looking for an experienced construction Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the modernization and/or new construction of public works projects throughout California.
This position is overseeing TCM's General Contracting projects with the desired candidate having experience as a Project Manager over General Contracting projects.
The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience in public works, and experience in DSA school construction, with experience in creating and managing each project and their individual budgets, schedules, change orders, payment applications and more.
This position will require knowledge in preconstruction services, planning, subcontractor oversight, construction oversight, and DSA/local project inspection and closeout.
*Duties:*
* Reports to the Vice President and Director
* Oversees all subcontractors
* Creates and updates the schedule
* Understands P6 and Project
* Direct management of design planning and review
* Performs constructability reviews
* Performs value engineering
* Reconciles the budget to the plans
* Direct management of each project
* Oversee the QA/QC process
* Oversees ProCore Document Control systemProduce daily reportsPhoto libraryProduce and process RFI's and SubmittalsReview and Process/Reject Change OrdersLead the weekly construction meetingsSubmission of Payment ApplicationsOversee subcontractorsProduce meeting minutesAssign follow up tasks
* Direct management of project controls/ reporting
* Strong knowledge of project development to include contracts, design, construction oversight, project systems, delivery, and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to project requirements
* Manage design and construction of public works new construction and renovations
* Work with the DSA or City inspector through design to closeout
* Manage project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures
* Lead in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
* Oversee project team members, Superintendents, Project Engineers, Project Administrators
* Provide management of project logistics, organization, systems, and personnel resources
* Ensure project closeout to secure appropriate provisions for final project delivery to owner entities
* Perform other duties as required
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent technical area of study.
* 7+ years of experience in project management of public works and/or K-12 school projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.
00 - $170,000.
