OVERVIEW:
We are a premier glass company that has been serving the San Francisco Peninsula for almost 40 years.
We are known for our commercial & residential work with a focus on windows, doors, showers, mirrors, architectural glass, glass railings, wine rooms, and other glass related projects.
We’re currently looking to hire a full-time experienced Glazier to join our team of experts.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking quality Glaziers with a passion for their craft and a desire to be a part of projects that both they, and the client, will be proud of for many years to come.
As a Glazier it will be your responsibility for completing quality installations and repairs on various residential and commercial job sites.
This would include fabrication and installation of aluminum storefronts, commercial doors/hardware, windows, mirrors, shower enclosures (framed and frameless), glass railings, etc.
Carpentry skills are a plus, as well as ability to lead crews both large and small.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Pride in your craftsmanship
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings to determine the most suitable method of installation.
• Verify materials are installed in industry standards
• Follow instructions during project assignments (written & verbal).
• Fabrication/Installation of a wide variety of glazing materials, for both Commercial & Residential.
• Promote and follow safety guidelines and safe working practices.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of job site, company truck and equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Punctuality.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Must possess a valid California drivers’ license and clean driving record.
• Organized, responsible, professional, possess time management skills and extremely reliable.
• Solid communication skills.
• Able to work independently or part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and quality work.
• Candidates must be physically capable of performing work with the ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• Strong leadership skills are a plus.
