What You’ll Do
Manage fast-paced cross-functional projects from end-to-end
Create, maintain, and communicate schedules & plans for battery programs
Develop and manage product requirements
Drive action with internal & cross functional teams to successfully complete projects within time & resource constraints
Collaborate with design engineers to resolve issues with part design, manufacturing processes, or validation tests
Track progress & report effectively on status, blockers & changes
Develop & maintain effective communication channels to all stakeholders – including design, supply chain, reliability, safety, manufacturing, and simulation teams
Lead the team with confidence through rapid development cycles, changing requirements, and uncertainty
Track resourcing of projects & drive resource balancing between different program priorities
Identify team priorities & motivate the project team to complete critical tasks
Own product BOM accuracy between design, supply chain, NPI & material planning
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
2+ years full time employment experience.
Minimum: multiple relevant internship positions
Experience in developing hardware products (preferred) or software products
Comfortable reporting status to leadership and communicating in large audiences
Detail oriented with strong record-keeping & organizational skills
Demonstration of engineering fundamentals (materials, mechanics, analysis, simulation)
Ability to work cross-functionally & manage large teams
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
Desire to own a lot and work hard - we have small teams and fast timelines
Experience managing suppliers preferred
