Maxar is seeking a motivated and experienced Cyber Systems Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Engineering Services team in Westminster, Colorado.
This position may also be performed remotely.
In this role, you will interact with systems and software engineers, integration and test specialists and others to manage the information security and information assurance activities.
This position will provide support to the integrated hardware and software product.
Successful execution of this role will combine cyber security principles, DoD Information Assurance tasks and unwavering dedication to team excellence.
In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum environment working across functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead Cybersecurity Engineering team tasking
Budget tracking, forecasting, and reviews of assigned team’s labor, non-labor and program budgets
Oversees Cyber design requirements for the Space Infrastructure Production Network (SIPN) or any other direct Maxar Space program related cyber infrastructure, as assigned by the Director
Analyze and resolve INFOSEC technical problems.
Configure testbeds and conduct testing, records and analyze results, and provide recommendations for improvements for the products/systems under test
Support full lifecycle Assessment and Authorization (A&A) deliverables, Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
Minimum Requirements:
Must be U.
S.
citizen with the ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or related scientific or technical discipline.
Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
IAM Level III
Experience developing and implementing security controls in secure commercial, international and/or U.
S.
government
Experience securing systems in AWS or similar, including an understanding of the infrastructure architecture
Experience working with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Familiarity with FedRAMP and FIPS 140 testing methodologies
Proficiency in the use of cyber related tools (such as Nessus, NMAP or Splunk), network scanning, vulnerability scanning, and other penetration testing tools
Windows Server Active Directory Administration
Experience with Atlassian Jira issue tracking software
Preferred Qualifications:
Current/active TS/SCI clearance with poly
Cloud Orchestration Experience in AWS, Azure or Oracle
Experience working on UNIX/Linux platforms and TCP/IP security
Previous experience working as a security professional in a SAP/SCI environment on government contracts
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work in a collaborative team environment
Experience with Atlassian Jira issue tracking software
Agile development and/or SCRUM experience
Experience with SharePoint
Experience supporting DoD information collection systems
Effectively work in a fast-paced operations support environment as part of an Agile Scrum team

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility.
Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience.
The range for this position is:
$119,000.
00 - $199,000.
00 annually.
Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
