Job Duties:
Become familiar with the scope of work by reading the contract and specifications.
Recognize any discrepancies between drawings and jobsite conditions, report them to Project Manager and Sales/Designer, problem-solve in a team-spirited atmosphere and make appropriate corrections.
Keep job on time and on budget using on-going job calendars and job cost reports as primary management tools.
Use job calendars to forecast material and staffing needs.
Build to plumb and level tolerances regulated by Company standards.
Install proper flashings and waterproofing at all exterior finishes (such as doors, windows, siding, decks and ledgers).
Prepare the jobsite for Subcontractors.
(such as blocking, open walls, cabinetry layout).
DEmonstrate the safe and proper use of all power tools.
Keep jobsite clean and orderly.
Complete timesheets daily in an accurate manner with approval the lead Carpenter.
As a representative for HARRELL, act in a professional manner.
Physical Demands:
Walks, sits, stands, bends, kneels, lifts, and moves continually during working hours.
Is subject to lifting over 50 pounds.
Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
