ASSEMBLER III THE COMPANY: Element Science, Inc.
is a medical device and digital health company focused on developing solutions at the intersection of clinical-grade wearables, machine learning algorithms, and lifesaving therapies in order to address leading causes of death and hospitalization in patients with heart disease, primarily as they transition from the hospital-to-home.
By putting the needs of patients and physicians first, our personalized digital devices, which are designed for function, comfort, and ease-of-use, aim to redefine the paradigm of care for these patients.
Our first product, a wearable patch defibrillator, is initially targeted at treating the more than 500,000 patients in the US with an elevated temporary risk of potentially experiencing a lethal heart rhythm.

SUMMARY OF ROLE: As an Assembler III, we will rely on you to drive manufacturing tasks with precision and efficiency to meet and exceed production goals, ensuring strict adherence to Quality System requirements and GMP standards.
Assembler may assist with R&D builds and the transfer of new products to manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform assembly operations to meet build plans.
Adhere to all manufacturing procedures, SOP's, WI's and GMP standards.
Identify needed materials, tools, or aids.
Assist with transfer of new products or design changes.
Accurately complete all necessary manufacturing documentation (e.
g.
, LHR's, FRM's).
Work with engineering and support teams on process improvements or changes.
May assist manufacturing engineer with projects.
Adhere to company Quality System and follow GMP standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work with minimal guidance.
Meet training requirements set by Supervisor/Leads.
Support Supervisor/Lead training efforts for fellow peers.
Good eye-hand coordination to construct small parts and piece into final product.
Effective communication skills.
Maintains corporate confidentiality at all times.
Physical Demands: Lift up to 25lbs Regularly perform repetitive tasks Frequently lift, push, pull, bend, twist, reach, grasp, grip, walk, and stand Understand the job specific quality system procedures and processes as defined in the Training Matrix and adhere to the requirements listed in those documents.
QUALIFICATIONS: 4-8 years of previous manufacturing experience.
Medical device experience highly recommended (minimum of 2-4 years).
Flexible to modify working hours to meet specific commitments.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.
e.
, Word and Excel).
Willing to work in a controlled manufacturing environment.
Willing to work with machinery/equipment.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Good command and working knowledge of spoken and written English.
Understanding of 5s standards.
