Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install building materials for during the construction, remodeling or repair in a residential setting
- Demolish existing structures
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time
- Knowledgeable in local building codes and meet with building inspectors
- Broad range of proven construction experience in the following: Demolition, Framing, Cabinet Installation, Trims and Moldings, Installation of Hardware and Fixtures, Installation of Windows, etc
- Additional work in but not limited to, drywall, plumbing, electrical, paint, and tile
- Knowledge of other trades is highly desirable
- Must understand foundation-to-finish (all stages of construction.
)
- Demonstrates the necessary characteristics to be the on-site leader of the project (such as being organized, proactive, professional, supportive, composed, and on time, mentoring support carpenters).
- Excellant oral communication skills to meet with architects, engineers, and home owners for RFIs, weekly updates and change orders.
Requirements:
- Have at least 5 + years experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the Residential Construction sector
- Proficient in carpentry techniques and tools
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their uses
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have own tools and truck
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay: $35.
