Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team.
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems, including security systems, CCTV, and electrical systems.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Duties: - Install and configure low voltage systems, including security systems, CCTV, and electrical systems - Perform regular maintenance and inspections of low voltage systems to ensure proper functioning - Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions in low voltage systems - Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine system layouts - Run cabling and wiring for low voltage systems - Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance - Provide training and support to end-users on the proper use of low voltage systems Requirements: - Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including security systems, CCTV, and electrical systems - Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations - Experience working with hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings - Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in low voltage systems - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide support to end-users Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
