Job Description AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in San Carlos, CA .
This position has a hybrid work schedule.
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager reports to the Deputy Director of Capital Program Delivery and is responsible for developing, managing, and administering rail projects from design through construction phase.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: + Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of capital-funded projects.
+ Responsible for the whole project lifecycle from planning, design, procurement, construction, integration, commissioning, and closeout.
+ Develop and maintain the project execution plan for assigned projects.
+ Work closely with the assigned project engineer(s) to ensure that all deliverables are compliant.
+ Acts as liaison with internal and external stakeholders for assigned projects.
+ Provide oversight and directives for Consultants, Resident Engineer, and Construction Management Staff throughout the project.
+ Manage assigned projects and support Senior Project Managers and Program Managers as needed.
+ Support and embrace the Asset Management process in the organization.
+ Manage coordination and communications with all involved parties, including internal and external stakeholders, other agency departments, senior management, consultants, and contractors.
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders and build consensus.
+ Investigate, negotiate, and resolve project issues.
+ Identify the root cause of problems and present appropriate solutions.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or related field.
+ 5 years of project management experience working on rail/transit or construction projects.
+ Certified Project Manager (PMP certification).
+ A California Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
+ Ability to analyze and inspire innovative solutions to complex challenges.
+ Able to demonstrate a high level of organizational ability, capable of pivoting and re-prioritizing to meet changing project needs and deadlines.
+ Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications including Primavera P6, Microsoft (MS) word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

+ The offered rate of compensation for California will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The salary range for this position is $150,000-200,000.
