The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
* Must have *HIGH END RESIDENTIAL *AV experience
* Professional attitude and appearance a must
* Install audio, video, control systems, video conferencing equipment, etc
* Rack fabrication
* Custom high-end residential installation experience a must
* Ability to decipher drawings/blueprints
* AV service and system maintenance
* Perform all cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations
* Function as the Lead Installer under the Project Manager
* Analyze the project for correct tool, supply, equipment and vehicle requirements, as well as small parts and product pulls from the warehouse
* Provides guidance to technicians on-site, apprentices and direction to best practices and installation techniques
* Maintains daily communication with the Project Manager on the status of projects and associated task lists
* Installation and testing of equipment
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
* Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
* Must have previous experience as a technician installing and terminating low voltage cabling (especially terminating and testing category cable)
* Ability to follow electrical code, especially for low voltage cabling and installation
* Ability to successfully prioritize and meet deadlines
* Must be a highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic who has the ability to work without direct supervision
* Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
