Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects and superintendents
Collaborate with clients, designers, engineers, and architects to determine the specifications for projects
Organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are followed and completed in a timely and efficient manner
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines
Determine and manage manpower, equipment resources, and rough/finished products from start to finish while maintaining attention to the budgetary limitations
Evaluate construction progress and prepare detailed reports for senior project managers, company owners, and clients
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
Real-time documentation and communication of all project scope changes including updating the budget
Skills:
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
Ability to read, understand, and explain construction documents on all levels
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients
Excellent computer skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
A team player with leadership abilities
Familiarity with construction management software
Qualifications:
3-6 years of experience in project management within construction for a custom residential home builder or professional remodeler
Demonstrated knowledge of all construction trades, engineering, architectural principles, and civil engineering
Strong leadership and management skills
High School diploma or GED required.
A bachelor's degree is a plus!
Clean driving record
Being bilingual is a plus!
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary of $120,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
