Material Handler

PURPOSE OF JOB: This position, reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, will perform the activities of inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs shipping and receiving duties.
Inputs inventory transactions as required.
Moves materials and product as required.
Fulfills sales orders to meet required delivery dates.
Coordinates and packs product shipments to offsite locations and suppliers for processing.
Assists to ensure material inventory is maintained at levels that meet production and forecast requirements.
Responsible for inventory accuracy.
Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industry.
Has knowledge and experience of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the Medical Device or related industry.
Experience and knowledge of GMP practices and ISO 13485 regulatory requirements.
NetSuite or other ERP system a strong plus.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Excellent communication and time management skills required.
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Execution of duties with attention to detail and commitment to meeting goals.
