tech About the role: We are looking for a Multifamily Project Manager to join Brilliant’s Multifamily Sales team and to help bring our vision to life.
It’s going to be an exciting journey! Brilliant is seeking candidates who are proactive and passionate about smart home technology, individuals with the organizational skills and vision to turn dreams into reality.
The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison for internal sales engineering, offering pre-sales support and then transitioning into the primary contact and coordinator.
Building strong customer relationships to establish trust and organization during project implementation will be a core focus.
Additionally, this role involves aligning and communicating the goals of all stakeholders while overseeing customer deployments within the multifamily space.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication skills, the ability to work independently and to create processes, be comfortable communicating both internally and externally, and have superior time management and problem-solving skills.
A candidate should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal team members.
What you will do before Deployment: Support the customer contract process by reviewing architectural and electrical requirements to determine the best solution to meet the customer's requirements Serve as key liaison between customers, 3rd party installation partners, and internal teams to ensure all requirements are addressed Design a structured deployment process through project management software Create and specify solution requirements for customer agreements What you will do during Deployment: Drive live customer deployments and communicate changing objectives to internal teams Troubleshoot and assist with customer requests, address issues, and escalate, as needed Ensure timely delivery of our hardware and software, coordinate the delivery of 3rd party products and labor in alignment with customer requirements Coordinate and schedule a weekly touch base with internal teams, 3rd party partners, and customers for additional support Proactively raise and address issues arising from complex deployments with multiple stakeholders, to keep projects running smoothly Build customer templates and workflows within Brilliant’s software solution that will ensure a seamless deployment Generate reports detailing the current account status What you will do post Deployment: Review and update deployment processes and/or identify areas of improvement Collaborate with the Multifamily sales team to identify growth opportunities on current accounts Transition projects to the Customer Success team once deployments reach completion You have: 3+ years of experience in Project or Process Management College degree, preferably in an engineering or technical field Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to present and influence key partners at all levels of an organization Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs Experience defining project management processes and checklists, and using software to assist in project management processes Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at a time Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with customers, partners, and across the Brilliant organization Ability to travel 20% of the time to internal meetings, client sites, and partner locations Bonus Points if you have: Working knowledge and exposure to single family and especially multifamily builders Expertise in home electrical wiring and/or construction Expertise in wireless networking Experience working with smart home products A San Francisco Bay Area home address Compensation packages are determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
